Manager/Deputy Manager, Sales and Marketing (Animal Nutrition)
Objectives of the position:
- The objective of this position is to ensure sustainable existence of Animal Nutrition businesses in Bangladesh by overseeing Marketing, Sales, and development activities.
- This position is responsible for exploring new markets and ensures sales growth through promotion of BASF products. Consult with industry head as well as regional office regarding business promotion in the related industrial sectors.
- Responsible to implement business strategy based on the local market intelligence/trend and existing business activities relevant to global business strategies to ensure achievements of organizational objectives through achieving targets for Animal Nutrition business at the operation level in Bangladesh.
- Prepare & implement Annual Business Plan (ABP) and Annual Sales Plan in light with the operational planning of the Global Business Unit (GBU)
- Monthly & yearly reporting on New Business Development updates to Regional HQ.
- Prepare monthly & quarterly sales forecast to ensure proper allocation of materials.
- Explore potential new areas in Livestock Industries.
- New product introduction, launching, marketing planning & promotion for sales execution.
- Provide technical information on products as per customers’ requirement.
- Suggest reviews and innovations of BASF products to the customers to expand BBL’s forward linkage businesses.
- Coordinate with customers and Customer Service department to complete the full cycle of issuing indent to payment collection.
- Analyze the market and compile competitors’ updated information.
- Communicate with local, sub region, region and headquarter for information sharing on local market intelligence.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Doctor of Veterinary Medicine/ Animal Health / Animal Nutrition / Microbiology/Chemistry/Applied Chemistry/ Biochemistry/Pharmacy
- 8-10 years of relevant working experience in Sales and Marketing preferably in Animal Nutrition/ Animal Health Industry.
- Expert knowledge regarding Animal Health industry
- Proficiency in written and spoken English.
- Well versed in Microsoft Office
